Minutes of meeting held on Monday 6 February 2006
Present: P Douglas, S Raeside, P Duncan, L Matthews, W Roger, J Lewis, R Pegden, L Ogilvie, V Kilgour, L Roger
Apologies: J Fairbairn
1) St Andrews Bay development.
S Carter gave a presentation on the proposals. It was agreed to have further
discussions once we had seen the formal plans, which have only just been
lodged with the Council.
2) Matters arising
Boarhills road signs. The signage at the top of the road is a big improvement,
but there has been no progress on that at either end of the Q17.
Flooding at Cardean. Recent dry weather has meant that there have been no problems.
Recycling. The communal recycling facility is being very well used. Householders further from the main roads are complaining at their relatively poor service for paper collection.
Accounts: J Fairbairn has intimated that we have £303 in the General Account, and £858 in the Dunino footbridge account. It was suggested that we purchase a new notice board for Boarhills, as the existing one is warped and leaks. If anyone has any suggestions for spending Community Council funds, please get in touch with one of the CC members ASAP.
The bridge at Stravithie Mill. No news on start date of works.
Lay-byes on Lathokar road. There are plans to tarmac these, to make passing places, but this may not take place until the next financial year.
Sorbie airfield. There is no likelihood of any changes in planning consents or use of airfield.
