Apologies: P Duncan
1) Matters arising
Boarhills road signs. Gordon Hughes from Fife Council has been in
touch and is going to look into the matter. The lack of visibility
at the Peekie road end was discussed, and it was suggested that
the high hedges at Kinglassie were possibly limiting vision.
Flooding at Cardean. The drains will be jetted out in the future,
but the current problem is not being helped by road sweepings being
brushed down them.
2) Dunino topics
The bridge at Stravithie Mill Following a redesign to reduce the
flood risk, this work is now rescheduled for Jan to May next year,
and is likely to require a complete closure of the bridge for one
week in Jan and another in May. There will also be a width restriction
at other times, which may mean diverting buses. The diversion routes
have not yet been finalised.
The Lathockar- Stravithie road. Verges have had spoil from ditches
heaped up on them, which is at least temporarily very unsightly.
A lay by is required between Pittendriech and Bannafield to allow
larger vehicles to pass.
