Apologies: J Fairbairn
1) Matters arising
There is £62 left in the CC account after paying for Mrs Wilson’s
bench (£320 towards the total cost to date of £350).
It is hoped that the bench will shortly be varnished and installed.
K Harrison is resigning from the CC as she is leaving the village.
The CC wished her well in her move. L Birrell has agreed to take
her place.
Road signs: no progress in new signs after P Milne initially contacted
L Roger to say new ones were being prepared. Meanwhile, several
have been blown over after the recent gales (Peekie road and before
the Kinglassie bends).
F Roger reported no meeting with the Council as yet to resolve the
flooding outside Cardean.
There is some confusion about the new recycling bin collection.
We believe we may have had our last ever skip, and some residents
have received a note of dates for recycling bin emptying. However,
we have had no further info about these bins, how they are to be
used, or even conformation of when we will be getting them.
2) Dunino topics
Broadband is now available in Dunino.
The new lights are working well at the school.
PD to note when the Sorbie planning permission for flying is up
for renewal. IT would appear that no permission is required for
military helicopter landings.
3) General points
The draft St Andrews Local Plan is out for consultation.
Date of next meeting
