1) Matters arising
Boarhills road signs. No progress, although Peter Milne has recently remarked on this lack of progress. (Issue first raised Sept 2004).
Flooding at Cardean. The Council recently visited the site, and are due to come back with cameras so they can look further along the drain. However, there is no prospect of any significant sum being spent, The flooding is exacerbated by blockages to the E of the current problem.
Recycling. We now have communal plastic and metal can bins, situated next to the hall. Individual paper recycling bins will be issued shortly.
J Fairbairn submitted the audited accounts for 2004/05. These were approved by the meeting.

2) Dunino topics
S Raeside reported that planning permission for activities at Sorbie airfield was about to come before the Council. Local residents adjacent to the airfield continue to be concerned, and S Raeside will shortly attend a community council organised meeting at Carnbee for those involved.
The bridge at Stravithie Mill is in need of repair. Engineers from Fife Council Transportation services gave a brief summary of works proposed. After concerns from local residents J Ryan and B Baillie were raised regarding the flooding hazard which may be increased due to a reduction in stream width allowed by the proposed new structure, it was agreed that the plans would be revised. The work is likely to take place between November and April, and will involve partial closure of the road, with a 7.5T weight limit during the work. It was agreed that local farmers with activities either side of the bridge would be contacted. It was agreed that the proposed timing of the work was probably optimal. Diversions will be signposted around the coast.
The Lathockar- Stravithie road is still in very poor state. Recent cosmetic patching has not helped.

3) Boarhills topics
The Best Kept Village Competition will be judged during week beginning 20th June.
A Village Garden open day and barbecue will be held on 3 July.
Thanks to all who took part in the recent beach clean up.
The Community Council has been asked to attend a meeting on 16 June on the formation of the Fife Coastal Partnership. L Roger will attend.
