Planning application at Beley Bridge. P Douglas outlined the procedures regarding this application, and Beley Bridge residents voiced their concerns. It is hoped that improvements in the access/ warning signs could be made to reduce the potential risk at this point.

Mrs Wilson’s bench is nearing completion. Cost is likely to be around £350, of which it was agreed the CC will pay £320.

A successful beach clean up was recently carried out, with good attendance. Thanks to all those who volunteered.

P Milne has been in touch with the Secretary regarding road signs for Boarhills, and will forward the spec shortly.

2) Boarhills topics
Flooding has been a major problem in the village in recent weeks. The main problem is opposite the Old Post Office, and also at the top of the road, on the bend. It is thought that some of the problems relate to collapsed condies. F Roger agreed to liase with Council Roads/Drainage people when they come out to inspect the situation.

3) Dunino topics
There were none.
