1)
Matters arising
"
More money was required to fix the foot bridge at Dunino, over and
above that given by the Locality Manager. However, PD thought that
some might be available out of another budget.
" The Village Hall lighting was now complete, and is portable.
A function is organised for Saturday 1 November, at which it is
hoped to see it in action.
" COMMUNITY CONSULTATION; this takes place on Thursday 20 November,
from 3-8pm, in Boarhills Village Hall. This is your chance to comment
on many aspects of your community - planning, roads and transport
etc etc.
2)
Dunino topics
S Raeside
has intimated that F Raeside is willing to create a community web
site for the two villages. This could act as a source of general
information and noticeboard. Anyone interested in contributing is
urged to contact the Community Council or F Raeside direct.
3)
Boarhills topics
"
A beach clean up is organised for Sunday 9 November, starting at
11 am. ALL WELCOME!
" Some of the local road signs need attention: 30 mph in Boarhills,
bend sign at Kinglassie, Peekie road end giveway, plus the direction
signs at this location are very dilapidated.
" The condition of the doocot continues to deteriorate. However,
it is hoped that the community can effect some repairs in the medium
term in co-operation with the owners.
" Recent planning applications: Bonnyton house - still ongoing.
Brownhills garage - still ongoing. Chesterhill - J Mudie questioned
the right of the community to comment.
4)
Boarhills Village Hall issues
None
5)
Greenbelt update
The
detailed plans for the new Links Trust golf course at Kinkell have
not yet been received, but an outline map of the development is
available. (See noticeboard). Opinion is generally favourable locally.
KH and LR had attended a presentation in August at which concerns
raised with the developers at a previous CC meeting had been addressed.
6) Date of next meeting
Monday
19 January 2004, Boarhills Village Hall
